Role-playing Games

• My chief creative outlet is role-playing games (RPGs) such as Dungeons & Dragons and Mage: the Awakening.

I got started in RPGs around Christmas 1978 when I used my Christmas money for a copy of the Gamma World boxed set and the Holmes blue cover Dungeons and Dragons. The store I bought my games at (I was already playing wargames) was out of the D&D Boxed Set and stand alone dice so initially Gamma World was bought just for the dice although for a long time I found it more interesting.
